Founded by Kim Dalglish Abell, her passion for Ontario history and love of the trees and lakes inspired her commitment to showcasing the hidden gems of Ontario's countryside.
Our inspiration: affordable homes in Ontario
During the COVID-19 pandemic, I heard many stories about the challenges people faced finding affordable housing. This led me to ponder how I could contribute to a solution. Living in the peaceful Ontario countryside, I found my answer: focusing on the beauty and practicality of small homes. This experience sparked the creation of Humble in the Spotlight Inc., driven by a desire to help others find accessible and charming living spaces.

We don't just find small houses; we often lovingly restore heritage properties, bringing their unique character back to life.
